Default unable to run easy php calendar in trial mode

Hi,

I have installed trial version of easy php calendar. when I was trying to run the calendar in trial mode, it is not getting the lookup order number (for trial mode) automatically. Can you please help me out with the way to start php calendar in trial mode.

Regards,
Somasekhar Rao K

Did you click the Get License link that's highlighted in yellow? (What happens?)

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply. I tried to click on "Lookup an Order Number" which was highlighed in yellow. (when trial mode option was failed. It takes me to login page -> when login and password is entered -> it takes me to License setup ).

A new browser window is opened with the link http://www.phpcal.com/clients/lookup.php asking for an email address. Since it was not a purchase, phpcalendar website is not aware of my email address. Got stuck.

Regards,
Somasekhar Rao K

I think you may have clicked that you bought a license instead of running the trial.

If you'll open a support ticket with the URL and login to the calendars Setup Manager, I'll log in and get the trial set up for you.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. After login I tried to click on "run the calendar in trial mode". It takes me back to login window asking for user and password.

I am trying to run on my local machine with XAMPP installed and apache as a web server. So cannot give any URL as such. Is there any way you can suggest the next step.

Regards,
Somasekhar Rao K

Sounds like sessions isn't working or the wrong user name/password is being entered.

Run the test script from the Free Download page of this web site to confirm sessions support. If they are working, upload a new config.inc.php file in the calendar directory to be prompted to enter a new user name and password.

They had several problems (and this thread is over a year old)...

You may want to start a new thread and post the issues you're having so we can help.
