Default Date access in database

Hello,
I'm trying to do what I thought was going to be pretty simple.
I have an application on another url than I have the easyphpcalendar app on. I just wanted to be able to grab a quick date and title of events straight from the database but I'm not sure how you are representing dates.

For example, I have an event on Tuesday Feb 13, and the date in the database is '2454145'.

I'm thinking maybe you did this on purpose, but is there anyway for me to figure out an actual date from the ones you store in the db?
I really don't want to buy another license to display some events on another app on a different url. Anyway around this?
