Default Date from Calendar to Transfer to Another Page

Hello,

I have looked throught the features to try and determine if the calendar will allow a date selected on the calendar to be transfered to another page.

I'm in the process of developing a meal assembly site with a calendar and shopping cart. The dates and times of the meal assembly session would be added to the calendar. Say three sessions on one day. Now when the user selected the time say 10: a.m. on August 30th this date and time would transfer to the page on the shopping cart so when they submited the menu the date and time would be captured on the form and in the database. My programming experience is very limited as I'm a designer not a programmer.

So my question is can this calendar perform this operation of transfering the date to another page? Here is an example (link removed)

Thanks in advance.

A date can be transferred somewhat easily, using a modified blog mode, but being able to transfer the time like the example site you gave would be quite a bit harder (if possible at all). The calendar was never meant to be used as a reservation system... it was built (originally) to display rental properties availability. Now it has matured into more of an event calendar - still not a reservation system.

If you only needed to give the day for the reservation, I have already worked it out by using the blog mode. Let me know if this would interest you.

Did you use easyPHPcalendar for this ? It doesn't really look like it.

This is EXACTLY what I'm looking for - a way to pick a session - and to show which sessions are closed.

I'm still digging - email me if you find anything.

thanks

Donna
