Default modifying events/index.php

Hello,

I've bought and installed a version that removes all copyright information.

However, I need to put in some navigation elements into events/index.php which will allow users to go to other pages of the website. So I copied over events/index.php (in Binary mode, as instructed) to make modifications. But when I opened the php file in Homesite, everything from lines 20 and on is displayed in some unreadable language.

How can I modify this file properly?

You cannot. They are encrypted to protect the intellectual property that is built into them.

You can add your links to the /calendar/events/headerCustom.inc.php file. Plain HTML works fine.
