Default zend engine

I've gone thru the installation of easyphpcalendar on my windows xp machine (localhost). Now when I try and got to the index.php page, I keep getting the zend engine optimzer must be installed. I have already installed the engine (3.2.8). When I do my phpinfo, I don't see anywhere that the zend optimizer has been installed. What should I be looking for? Thanks for any help that you can provide.

To install Zend, you have to make sure that you either let the setup modify your php.ini, or that you modify it yourself. Zend has plenty of documentation for how to perform an install - please refer yourself to those.
