How can I fix this issue:

When you get to a page that has no events...the small calendar and dropdown date selection dissapears. So you don't have a way to select another date.

This happens on the front end. It works fine other than this.

I'm not aware of a problem like this before... Is this in the Event Manager?

no...it's on the front end.

The calendar works great...however, if you select a month/year that has no events scheduled, the results are a page that says There are no events to display for this time period.
but then the navigation is lost....you can see it here:

then click through future months until you get to one that has no events scheduled...like June or July 2008

You know....I think I just found my problem....it's an issue with layout and not the calendar system.
