event calendar for book store

I arrange events at my local independent bookstore and I would like to have an events calendar to display what authors will be signing/reading at our store. This calendar appears to be a great way to do so. A few beginner questions:

1. How customizable is this? I would like to display the author's book jacket cover next to his event in list view. Is this possible?

2. Is there a way to move the events that have passed to a separate page so that people can see which authors have visited in the past?

sorry if these questions are too in-depth. should i just open a ticket?

1) You can include HTML and an img tag pointing to the book jacket cover image file.

2) It is not possible to separate them as you've described, but all events will be visible for the past unless you use the $noOld=1; option.
