Default View only mode and current day view

Hi !

2 questions:

1 - is there a way to have a view only mode user, one who cant edit anything, can only view events ?

2 - When going to the default page, or the event manager page is there anyway to only show todays events at the bottom of the page ?

Thanks,

Brian

1) Yes. Don't give them access to the Event Manager, but instead point them to the calendar directory. (i.e. calendar/index.php or calendar/demo.php, etc.)

2) No.

Would the second question be worth requesting as a feature ?

We do an average of 20 events / day and 100 events on a busy day. So some way of controlling what displays there would be beneficial.

Thanks,

Brian

This probably won't happen for Version 6, but you may and to add it to the Feature Requests forum for Version 7.
