Exclamation Login issue on Firefox 3.0 and Vista

I've been using the calendar for over 2 years and my client mentioned that he couldn't login anymore. He has Firefox 3.0 and has Vista. I use Firefox 3.0 on my PC (excluding Vista) and I didn't have any issue logging in. He describes as "the login screen just takes my username and password and then deletes it and starts all over again when I press enter."

I had him try a few different things (below) but he still haven't been able to log in. I'm not sure what is causing this issue. Any ideas?

  • Make sure num lock and caps lock is turned off. Try logging in again.
  • Delete your Internet Cookies
  • Try logging into the calendar from a different browser - Internet Explorer
  • Resetting his password

Seems like a setup issue with FF3. Since FF3 is in Beta, I'm not using it as my primary browser. I'll need to see if I can test this...

Wait... I thought you were talking about FF 3.1 (the Beta). Sorry.

I develop and use FF 3.0 extensively and never have had a problem like this and it's not a known issue. It still sounds specific to their computer.

Check the anti-virus that your client is using. I've seen it where they have stupidly secure setups not even allowing form data to be posted.
