link date in list mode to same page as blog post

thank you for the trial; this script is about 98% where I need it to be function-wise and if you can help me get that last 2% (even if it's via a paid customization) I'm happy to purchase the full license.

it uses the MULTIBLOG tutorial from EPC Tutorials for the top part, and LIST mode for the bottom part (the template for LIST mode is based off of monthly.php, I just took off the description info).

when you click on a date in the calendars it loads up a blog.php based template that displays the events for that day...I really wanted this to link to a single-event page but apparently that can't happen, so this is as good as it will get for me.

what I want to do is have the date listed in the LIST mode take you to the same place as the blog link when clicked.

it can't be that hard, and seriously I'm happy to pay for it...please let me know if I have to fill out a custom quote form or something. just as long as this can function as mentioned above.
