Default New Release v7

Hi Brian

I have read through you previous posts regarding the release of version 7. Hope all is better. I was just wondering if you are any closer to knowing roughly when the release may happen, weeks, months, years? I am trying to get a site up and running and there are many calenders out there none of which tick all the boxes for what I need, however v7 would. Also is the database going to remain mySQL?

Many thanks

Kia

I don't have info on when the release will happen (Brian is the dev/owner, I'm just support), but I can confirm that the database will remain mySQL. In fact, flat-file (text) database support will be terminated in v7.

Can anyone provide an overview of the features and changes that are being implemented in v7? I saw on Feb 6 where v7 was very close but I know how these projects often get delayed. In the meatime it would help us in planning if we could understand which features, ehancements, and changes were coming in the new version. A timeline in weeks or months would also be greatly appreciated.
