Do I need a mySQL server?




Version 7:

 

Yes. Version 7 only support mySQL databases.

 

Version 6:

 

Version 6 supports saving events to a text-based file. This is really useful for servers without mySQL support. Plus, the are no limitations of using a file-based database compared to mySQL!
