Installation Errors (decoders - binary mode)

The following errors / conditions can occur when the calendar files are not uploaded in the required binary mode. Please note that "..." means that text was omitted and the full message does not appear below:

"Fatal error: Incompatible file format: The encoded file has format ID 0, which is too old..."

"The file /path/filename.php is corrupted." - The path and filename would change according to the configuration of your server.

"Fatal error: This encoded file is corrupted...in /path/filename.php on line 0" - The path and filename would change according to the configuration of your server.

The Event Manager and/or Setup Manager is blank (white screen).

Fatal error: Decompression error, probably the file is corrupt in /path/calendar/setup/index.php on line 0

Fatal error
: Corrupted encoded data detected in /path/calendar/setup/index.php on line 0

The encoded file /path/calendar/fileName.php is corrupt.

If any of these or similar errors are encountered, please be sure to upload the calendar files in binary mode using an FTP program. Most FTP programs will default to uploading in ASCII mode, so it must be forced to upload in binary mode.
