Trial limitations running on local host or internal IP address

NOTE: This FAQ applies to Easy PHP Calendar 6 only!

The trial version can only run in Limited Mode on a server set up as localhost or using an internal IP address (such as 192.168.x.x, etc.).

To run the calendar on a local internal server, enter localhost as the license key. This will run the script in Limited Mode for testing.

Limited Mode is fully fucntional and customizable, but a license key error will display and only one event for any given month will display. All entered events will appear and customizations will remain after being fully licensed.

The purchased/licensed version doesn't have this restriction and can run on a local server.

Why do we do this? In order to create a unique trial license key for each installation, the key is based on your domain name / IP address. Since running on a local server does not provide enough unique information to generate an individual license key, we can only allow the calendar to run in limited mode.
